David A. Schlessinger, M.D., F.A.A.C.S. is Board Certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Schlessinger received his Medical Degree from the University of Pittsburgh - School of Medicine in 1988. He completed his Fellowship training at the University of Minnesota in Eyelid Plastic Surgery and Neuro-Ophthalmology. In addition to being the Director of his private practice, Dr. Schlessinger teaches Eyelid Plastic Surgery to Ophthalmology Residents on Long Island & New York City. Dr. Paul Krawitz is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of The University of Michigan, and received his medical degree in 1985. He is a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He has been a partner of Huntington Eye Care Associates since 1993. In that time, he has become one of Long Island’s most highly sought and professionally recognized eye surgeons. Dr. Krawitz performs over 1000 ophthalmic procedures annually, including no-stitch cataract surgery, the most modern therapies for glaucoma, laser refractive surgery, and laser treatment of both macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Gregory Persak, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Persak is one of the founding partners at the Center for Eye Care and Optical. Dr. Persak specializes in cataract, refractive surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology including glaucoma treatment. He obtained his B.A. from Boston University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He attended Boston University Medical School and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.Dr. Persak us a board certified Ophthalmologist with more than twenty years experience having preformed thousands of ophthalmologic microsurgeries. He has served on the faculty at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and is currently on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital and Southside Hospital.
Dr. Weissberg graduated with a Doctorate Degree from SUNY Downstate, and completed his residency at Stony Brook's University Hospital. Dr. Weissberg is a general orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in shoulder, spine, knee, hip, hand, and foot surgery. Dr. Weissberg is Board Ceritfied by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. Greenberg is Board Certified in ophthalmology. He attended the Albert Einstein School of Medicine and received his ophthalmology training at Montefiore Hospital. His special interest include cataract surgery.
David L. Benisch, M.D, F.A.C.S.
Dr. David L. Benisch received his doctorate degree from the State University of NY Down State Medical Center in 1973. From there, he would complete both his internship and the first year of residency in general surgery at Rhode Island Hospital. He finished his final three years of residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in 1979. That same year, Dr. Benisch established himself as a private practitioner in general and vascular surgery, where he has over 25 years of experience. In addition to being a member of the staff at the Melville Surgery Center, Dr. Benisch currently serves as an attending physician at both Huntington Hospital and NSUH at Syosset.
Robert Feld, M.D.
Dr. Robert Feld received his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey and completed his post-doctoral training at the University of Arizona. He served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center before returning to his native Long Island. Dr. Feld has over 20 years of experience as an adult and pediatric ENT specialist. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology which is a distinction conferred by the American Academy of Otolaryngology. Dr. Feld sees and treats patients with a wide variety of conditions related to the head and neck areas of the body.
Dr. Scott Silverberg attended Cornell University for his undergraduate education and received his medical degree from State University of Stony Brook in 1986. He completed an internship at Mount Sinai Hospital, his residency at State University of New York at Stony Brook, and a Fellowship at Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. Dr. Silverberg has been published several times. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association.

Jay Youngerman, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Jay Youngerman earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and Communicative Disorders at Long Island Jewish Hospital in 1983 and has been serving the Long Island community for the last 27 years practicing mostly out of his Plainview office. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Board of Otolaryngology, a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
Dr. Jorge Baez received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in General Surgery at New York University Medical Center followed by his completion of an Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program at the NYU Medical Center - Hospital for Joint Diseases. He also completed an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Baez is licensed in both Massachusetts and New York. He is currently practicing at The Central Orthopedic Group in Plainview, NY.

Dr. David Eysler received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed an internship followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology through Cornell University Medical Center at the North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Eysler is a member of the American Medical Association, Nassau County Academy of Medicine, Nassau County Obstetrical Society, Medical Society of the State of New York, Fellow American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Richard Tabershaw, M.D.
Dr. Tabershaw is a board-certified Orthopedic surgeon who has been practicing Orthopedics for over 20 yearsin the Bay Shore area. He completed his medical training at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and his internship at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Manhattan. He then went on to Orthopedic residency at Columbia Presbyterian. He has held the position of chief of the Orthopaedic department at Southside Hospital. He specializes in hip and knee replacements, shoulder and other arthroscopic surgeries as well as sports injuries.
Michael Lastihenos, M.D.
Dr. Lastihenos is a board-certified Orthopedic surgeon who has been practicing in the Bay Shore area for over 10 years. He completed his medical studies at New York State University and went on to internship and residency training at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park. He received further subspecialty training at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan and has been a team physician for the New York Jets. His interests include sports medicine and arthroscopy.

Dr. John J. Grosso earned his medical degree at the Health Science Center of Syracuse and completed his Otolaryngology residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Grosso is the current President of the Long Island Society of Otolaryngology (LISO), he serves as Chief of Otolaryngology of North Shore University Hospital at Syosset and has been on the Medical Board of North Shore University Hospital at Plainview for the past 10 years. He is on the Medical Advisory Board of the New York State Athletic Commission. He has been honored by Castle Conolly as one of the Top Doctors in the Metro Area.
